I was all set to show off a photo of my neighbor’s yard all decked out with Christmas cheer. And I was going to go on and on about how much I despise the decorating-your-house-and-yard phenomenon.
But then I ran across this – decorative holiday house lights set to music — and I was filled with a sensation that can only be described as Pure Christmas Love ‘n Peace.
The photos don’t do it justice — you have to watch it on the YouTube.
I was doubly delighted to see that the house is about five blocks from mine. What a great neighborhood!

Yeah, that guy totally stole the xmas thunder away from the woman 4 houses down. Her display is intense - and does a display for all the holidays, including Thanksgiving. They even have some ice sculpture for New Years. It helps my friends find my place: “Yeah, it’s 4 houses down from that one.”
What a great neighborhood.
I’m with you on this one… and I probably won’t be putting anything on my house or yard for the holidays. Good to see another neighbor blogging.

I know that house four houses down! I used to walk by it all the time when I lived on the 3000 block of 41st! (Now we’re on the 2700 block. Can’t seem to leave 41st.)
I have to admit we’ve made a couple trips to the dancing lights house, as my four-year-old calls it. She came up with a lot of theories on how those lights would be able to hear the music in order to dance like that. I’m also telling everyone I know to stop by, so sorry about the traffic.
