Tuesday, October 9th, 2007Campaign for a Commerical-Free Childhood is making it easy for us to tell our friends at Unilever that it’s time to end the hypocrisy: they can’t make money by “exposing” the sexual objectification of women rampant in the beauty industry (Onslaught) while they make money by employing the sexual objectification of women rampant in the beauty industry (Axe marketing campaign).
Of course I’d like to see Unilever drop Fair & Lovely skin lightener, too. Hell, I’d like to see them go away entirely.
